Multiple time Cy Young award winner, holder of most consecutive strike outs (10), catalyst of the Miracle Mets. A true Hall of Famer

One of my childhood heros

One of the all-time greats!  The "Miracle Mets" blanked my Hot-lanta Braves (3 games)!  Gone to the big bullpen in the sky.

As a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan I can only say Tom Seaver was a great pitcher. I thoroughly enjoyed watching him over the years. May God bless his family and friends, may he be at peace.

I'm not old enough to remember him with the Mets but I certainly recall his time with the Reds as he was still VERY good. And I think I saw him live when he was with the White Sox but I can't say with certainty.

One of the best.

One of my favorite players, had his poster on the wall as a kid. Always a class act. Besides a great athlete he was in the Marines

Everyone remembers Seaver as a Miracle Met, but he was also on the '86 Red Sox team that lost to the Mets.
