Richard Smith: Here, There and Everywhere (additional song added)

Just trying to "Pretty Up" your weekend. This guy is such a Master. Gotta thank my friend Denise here in El Paso for tipping me off that he was playing here last June. I had never even heard of him.

Never heard of Richard Smith. A great solo acoustic version of a Beatles classic.
Hopefully he will come to my town. We have a music hall which features artists that often may not be known to many people but are well known enough to get booked into venues around the country.
This is for all El Paso residents. The guitar is played by the late Grady Martin one of Nashville's studio players back years ago.

He showed up some years back in the crowd at the CAAS show, was invited to play a tune after playing in the lobby (Very much a Chet version of a bluegrass jam) and blowing everybody away with his Jerry Reed inspired style. Tommy Emmanuel and Richard have been close friends since that night. Lots of Youtube clips of Richard with Tommy, Pat Bergeson, Guthrie Trapp and every other great acoustic guitarist you can think of. Also, an extremely nice and gracious person who always has time to share a lick or two.

@robertdee He does do some singing, but even he would tell you he's not a vocalist. But most of his show is amazing guitar and good stories. He also does a quite a few guitar camps, having just taught at the Rocky Mountain Guitar Camp this past August (he's there almost every year). Locally, I try to catch him with The Hot Club of Nashville which also features Pat Bergeson.

@robertdee: Obviously mikewest answered your question, but no, Smith did not do any singing the night I saw him.
