Got home this afternoon after spending the last three days in Southern California. Yesterday was a
WONDERFUL celebration of the life of my dear sweet Aunt Mary Lou with her four children and many MANY grandchildren and great grandchildren. More than sadness it was a great day with family, many of whom I may not see again for a long time because Mary Lou was the family organizer.
 
Flew home today after the emotion of all that to find my roommate Steve dead on the floor of his bedroom. I am not kidding you. I will NOT go into anymore detail so please do not ask. The police have already been here and the coroner has picked up the body.
 
All I will say is that Steve was a VERY nice man and I liked him a lot. He used to own Hawg's Seafood restaurant in  Campbell which was a REALLY happening place. He only lived here for one year. FYI Steve had four children, two from each of his two marriages.  He was 61 years old.
 
If I told you I am in a state of shock right now that might be the understatement of the year.

That is shocking and sad. Wonder what happened. Could be heart attack or anything. 

Be thinking of you and hoping for peace this weekend. 

I lost two friends, one of whom was very close for over 50 years, to Covid this year. Both died in hospital l. Covid just destroyed their lungs. Also my doctor somehow caught Covid and died too. They were dressed like spacewalkers at the office and patients had to wait in your auto until they checked you out and gave you a new mask but somehow Doctor Monahan caught it and died on a respirator. 

Anyway sorry for the loss of your roommate. That is shocking.

Rob, I'm really sorry to hear about this. On top of all the other crazy stuff in the news, it must be tough to have to deal with this on top of the loss of your aunt. Sending you healing vibes my friend...

Also, sorry I have not replied to your PMs lately, it's just that this is the first time in weeks I've been able to log in here. It's very frustrating since I wanted to post a lot of stuff.
