Yes that sounds almost or real close to the other vocalist who is said to be retired and not interested in singing these days. 

Neal Schon gave Gregg Allman he and Johnathan Cain wrote but they hadn't finished and Gregg added some words and finished it up and it became "Temptation Was A Gun" on Where It All Begins. 

I saw Journey twice in the early 80's and Neal played a Les Paul which was black if I remember correctly. 

Where did he get the guitar on this? It sounds fine and has a good tone and in tune but look at the body and neck on that old Stratocaster!!! That is some major road wear!! That old Strat has been around the block a bunch of times.
