My brother Jason Orme will be on Austin City Limits, PBS, this Saturday, February 17th, appearing with Alanis Morissette. It's a full one hour segment and as always, Jason is the guitar player on the right as you're facing the screen. Check local listings, it's on @ 9:00 PM El Paso (Mountain) time.
I will check it out. I like Alanis so will be watching for the guitar player on the right.
Allman Brothers appeared on Austin City Limits in 1995 I think it was. They did a good set that night.
@robertdee: I have that ABB ACL segment on DVD, a bootleg that a friend made for me. I wouldn't say it's outstanding but it's pretty good.
@robslob I saw it in 1995. The Blue Sky was good I thought especially Dickey's solo. I seem to remember Same Thing sung by Warren was real good too but maybe I don't remember now but I always thought I felt Gregg kinda phoned it in that night.
But when Gregg was hitting the note on several shows I've seen his organ is so Smith and important to the band's sound and his vocals in the blues style are outstanding!!
