Thanks so much.  I'll give this a spin on the flat screen/soundbar later on.  I've always love Jimmie's playing, even more than Stevie Ray.  That laid back Texas Swing thing..........

I watched the entire 1 hour 33 minute show last night on my big screen pumped through the soundbar.  Gotta thank you once again.  This is really a phenomenal show, and I love the band that Jimmie has put together ......the "Tilt-A-Whirl" band.  A three piece horn section.  At 74, Jimmie is still just completely ON FIRE.  And at times, a very jazzy sound.  Guitarist DK Harrell sits in for a few tunes.  I could listen to Jimmie for three hours or more and never get bored.  FYI, Megeve is in France.

First I heard of Jimmy was back when I bought a Fabulous Thunderbirds album. I hadn't heard of them or heard the album. I saw it at a head shop for sale called The Electric Banana and bought it simply because the guys in the cover looked like they would make a good album. And I liked it.

It was later that I heard about Stevie Ray and that he was Jimmy's brother.

Jimmy has his own style and tone. I don't think he is similar to SVR much at all.
