Jimmy Page and Robert Plant  probably will keep it off the market.

Thats the first thing  I thought, but not sure how Jimmy could do. More legal involvement then I would know.

@jszfunk That was what the classic rock radio station in my area said was Jimmy's reaction but I failed to find it in print or a quote on the internet yesterday.

Gregg Allman was opposed to bootleg, outtakes, alternative takes of his solo and to an extent the ABB being released.

One released that really irritated Gregg was when Duane Allman quit The Hourglass and decided to travel to Muscle Shoals and work as a studio musician. Liberty Records had just rejected the Hourglass' third album which they decided to record on their own without Liberty being involved and as expected, Liberty records thought it was a looser and wouldn't release it.

Liberty told Gregg to let Duane and the others go. You are the only one with any talent and a chance to make it so we will get our third album from this deal from you.

Gregg claimed he had to stay in LA and record it or his brother and the others would be sued.

But Liberty chose the producer and the material including D.I.V.O.R.C.E. which was a country hit by Tammy Wynette.

Liberty eventually decided not to release it and let Gregg go and of course Gregg either hitchhiked or flew to Jacksonville to join the Allman Brothers.

This recording was eventually released as part of an expanded package of the two Hourglass albums Liberty did release in the late 1960's and of course neither album sold enough to make the top 200 album chart. This package was released by Liberty to cash in on the fame achieved by the Allman Brothers.

Gregg was not only mad this was released but very embarrassed and made a statement encouraging people not to buy it. It's garbage.

Forgive me Gregg...but here it is.
