We had about 20, mostly 3 small groups and a couple of singles w/parents.

Kept the lights and decorations on till 10 so if there were any stragglers (parents got off late, teens just got off work).

Had almost 90 goodie bags done up some for small kids, no hard candies, rest for the bigger kids.

One kid came to the door and asked if we were doing the trick or treat.  Stood there with him and looked at the ghost and witches hanging from the trees and eves, the strobe lights (black light and regular), the Halloween lights showing the path through the yard, the projector throwing dancing skeletons on the side of the house, decided to say "Yes, yes we are."

I was out of state at my parents house in North Carolina, they had about 15 kids come to the door, bunch of neighbors set up tables on apron of driveway and definitely had more kids.

We didn't participate in trick or treating this year due to the pandemic.  It was sad but one of those things.  Some kids in the neighborhood got out and had some fun.

Here's to making up for it next year!  The road goes on forever!

None, but we weren't expecting any as we live way out in the country. ❤️

I got a rock.  No kids, anyway.  In 8 years that we've lived here - I think we've had one kid - 5 years ago.  I never buy more Halloween candy than I'm willing to eat.  I always have some, though - lest I be pranked.

my wife made individual candy bags so the kids wouldn't reach in and touch everything etc.

I brought all of them to work yesterday.

no kids

We had about 75 kids show up, nowhere as many as we usually get. No teen-agers this time !

Mostly families, put out a couple decorations to let folks know we had something, if they felt like it.

Had the table out with 8 sections and they could only grab the goodies from 1 square - parents appreciated that.

in between groups got to clean the garage up a little before winter arrives, (keepin mama happy).

All in all, not bad, better than I had expected

Our town gave out signs that said 'We're not participating". My wife doesn't like Halloween anyway, so we put up the sign on our door.  Had 0 trick or treaters, and didn't even see any.  Our neighborhood is pretty old though - it was a lot different when we all had young kids - I think they used to bus kids in we gave out so much candy..... 😀

we had just one group of 4 kids, which considering we live on a busy and dangerous county line road with no sidewalks and far apart from our neighbors I thought was a pretty good number Smile

@sang

Our little neighborhood is surrounded by "mobile home" neighborhoods on three sides.  We usually see several farm tractors (semi-rural area) towing trailers full of kids as if they were on a hay ride.  Didn't see any this year.  One pick up had a few kids in the bed, and that was our biggest group.
