I'm near Dallas and it's about 20 degrees outside right now. Don't plan on going anywhere today unless I have to.

I'm in Erie, Pa. 14 degrees out tonight. 121" of snow so far this winter. 83" of it since Christmas Eve. 65" came on Christmas day and the 26th.
Comes with the territory living on the downwind side of the Great Lakes. I' so ready for Spring and winter has just started.

I'm not a Southern Boy; but the Mrs. and I travelled to Savannah from NY for New Years. Never made it out to the fireworks along the river last night because it was approx. 35 and raining. Just returned but it is supposed to go down to 20 tonight. (still a heat wave for us) Taxi driver said it hit 70 just a week ago.

Particularly checking in on our Southern Brothers and Sisters, here in NW Indiana it's been right around 0 degrees for a week now and it's not a real big deal, but as the cold front heads South, it can be a concern!..........Be Safe......joe

I hear ya! I am down in the Indy area, and its pretty cold here too. We have been keep our bird feeders full and they have been hammering through it. Our dogs take care of their business pretty quick also!! We made a big pot of French Onion ,mushroom and steak soup on Sunday to get us through for a few days. That is some good eating there!! 😉

Woke up today in Chicago (a few blocks from Lake Michigan), put the news on and it was -7. Actual temp. Some areas had a windchill of -35 degrees. 😮

Spent New Years Day at the beach here in southern Florida! After decades in the northeast and the midwest, it takes a hurricane to get me to complain about the weather.
