I must say... after tonight's show, I don't feel like I missed anything. There isn't anything I really want from tomorrow's show to give me closure.

Everything from this point on is gravy.

I think Melissa is a definite. And probably Blue Sky and Revival. Wish I was gonna be there to find out firsthand. I feel lucky to have gotten to go on Sat. though. I sure hope they break out a surprise get together again in a few years. How could they not?

If I was a betting man, I would suggest that they start with DWYNM>Cross to Bear and end with Whipping Post.

The middle will be all the songs that made them famous except for Ramblin Man unless Dickey shows up.

I might also add that this band when the show ends will all get together on the front of the stage and take a bow, something they never do acknowledging the run that it has had.. Another happy sad day coming up!!

Straight Mountain Jam or the Mt Jam sandwich? I'm guessing the sandwich to open one of the sets and then close it with the back half.

I think they'll do Dreams with Derek

Trouble No More to start

MJ > Will the Circle > MJ to end the 2nd set

encore - WP
last encore - Little Martha

Maybe they might just play the Filmore Set?

They should play some of Dickey's tunes for sure..

Blue Sky, Jessica, BWIAB would be a good start

And Layla.

I would really like to see them break out Layla once more... also YDLM with Soul Serenade, but I think that one may have been played enough for this run.

I am guessing the only way Little Martha will be the final song is if Derek, Warren and Oteil are playing it while Gregg, Jaimoe and Butch take a bow otherwise the final song will be something that everyone plays on and likely Whipping Post.

However, I think they should end with Don't Want You No More/Not My Cross To Bear. End it like it began on the first album.

Either way, I'm guessing there will be no or very few songs played beyond the first 4 albums tonight. Maybe Jessica from the 5th one.

That looks like a pretty good guess other than Warren not really singing anything. I'd give him maybe two more songs and Gregg two less. They haven't done The Weight or Good Morning Little School Girl this run and they might do one more Spots of Time or Rockin' Horse.

I think Dreams will get a Derek treatment.
Trouble No More because it was the first tune they ever played as a band.
End of the Line because it's supposed to be the end of the line.
Liz Reed just to get it in there one more time.
Ditto Blue Sky.
Melissa because it was Duane's favorite tune Gregg wrote.

And end with Whipping Post because how else can the Allman Brothers Band go out?

Other than that, I got no guesses.

The final song will be either Will The Circle Be Unbroken or Little Martha. And it will be after midnight to honor the 43rd anniversary of Duanes passing.

I think All My Friends is appropriate.

It's all gone, for the last time it seems
And it's a shame, all the feelings were lost in our
Things we had were fine, yeah
If we had to have them all the time
Some day we'll find should have relied on time
(Some day we'll find should have relied on time)

All my friends came to see me this year, oh yeah
And I was there to have them care, whoa
And maybe we've gone away
We can come back any old day
If we find how to rely on time, whoa
(If we find how to rely on time)

And maybe we've gone away
We can come back any old day
If we find how to rely on time
(If we find how to rely on time)

All my love wrote to me through the years
About the way friends can laugh at their fears
Though it's a
The better part of you
Make it all come true
If we find how to rely on time
(If we find how to rely on time)
If we find how to rely on time

I'm going w Will The Circle Be Unbroken too. I see each band member walking off one by one as the chorus repeats, eventually leaving only GA alone on stage to take the round by himself. End of the Line, no pun intended.

The band has never gone in for anything theatrical - or jive bullsh!t, as Duane would have termed it - and I can't see it starting now.

Ha! Grin

She may not really know, but just fyi, I just spoke to a Beacon bartender. She says that if a band goes past midnight they have to pay the over charges in advance. She has not heard that they will tonight, but again, she isn't a definitive source obviously. At some point when the show is coming close to an end they close the bars, if they go late then the bars do not close early. So if somebody sees the bars closing at like 11:15 or or so then that would lead me to believe that the show is not going on very long.

So the bartenders don't seem very clued in ahead of time, I thought they might.

I can't see them stopping before midnight tonight. My humble guess would be like 12:20 or something.
