I am a huge Beatles fan so I am partial to Lennon/McCartney. The body of work they created in 8 years will be unmatched. While John/Taupin are still going and much more prolific the fact that the Beatles changed and influenced the music scene, recording and the industry in general is another reason they are tops. What say you all?

With all due respect to John/Taupin ( Goodbye Yellow Brick Road), Lennon and McCartney is the greatest song writing team in the history of the world!!
Jagger/Richards may have made more money writing than John/Taupin.
