We can tell you what Derek Trucks will be wearing on stage tonight and why. Derek mentioned to Joe Bell (HTN) he wished he could wear a shirt honoring long time roadies Joe Dan Petty and Red Dog. Since one didn't exist, Joe made a call to The Big House who helped get this shirt created and sent up to NYC in time for tonight. The idea to honor the roadies is a good one, and if there is interest we may offer a run of these shirts with proceeds going to their families to thank them. We did the same with the shirt 'Brothers Never Forgotten' with Duane and Berry, the shirt that Derek wore on Friday

From getting the ABB tattoo, to playing Duane's guitar to paying tribute to the roadies - I don't think there is a member of any incarnation of this band who is more dedicated to the history of the band. Derek has shown class at every turn during his tenure with the band. I think he's as big a fan of the band as so many of us are. Just a class act all the way!

That is awesome. Just read both Derek and Warren are playing Duane's guitars, the Goldtop and Sunburst.
