crazy bargain: Deep Purple live CD/DVD

I love Deep Purple but sometimes feel like I probably have enough Morse-era live CDs. Their songlist always has a good-sized chunk of greatest hits, and how many versions of those do I need?
However, I saw the 2-CD / 1 DVD set called "To The Rising Sun" for 9.99 on Amazon and pounced after I looked at the setlist. It's their 2014 "Now What" tour, and they play a TON of the new songs, which is great. It is a really loose, fun, jammy show - I had almost forgotten how effortless this line-up is live. Freaking great. Even if you have a bunch of live Purple, get this one.

Yeah I agree, there are alot of Morse era live stuff(which I have most of them.)
This is the sister companion to the above.
There are some stand out releases of that era. I Know some look like alot of the same setlists, but they had some twists to the material.
I think the three listed below are some sort of series.
Live in Rome
Live in Newcastle
I would give the release an A+, but Jimmy Barnes does some vocals on here and it is almost cringe worthy. It seems like he is trying to be an over the top Ian Gillan from the 70's. Not good at all
This is coming out in October
Live in London
This one is really good, early Morse era-Very cool set list.

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

If you are interested in Podcasts there is a band dedicated one called simply enough " The Deep Purple Podcast". They cover DP music and family band stuff such as Rainbow,Gillans solo material, Lord Ashton Paice, Whitesnake and etc.... I really enjoy listening to it.
They drop an episode every Monday and Today's is Whitesnakes "Ready and Willing".

I saw DP twice in the mid 1970's. What do you Deep Purple fans think of this cover? Seem to nail it to me but not sure.

@robertdee: That was a most EXCELLENT cover of Highway Star and they've got it ALL down included musicianship and vocals. What I don't get: Is the name of the band really "The Classic Rock Show"? If so, that's a pretty stupid name for a band but I guess it DOES identify what they do.
