I've wondered out loud so many times - WHY is this footage being sat on?  Only a couple more decades (maybe) till the last folks who care enough are reunited with the band at that great gig in the sky.  This footage should've been made public years and years ago! 

Why wasn't later lineups of the band as powerful and rocking like the original band? ( of course my opinion but I did see all lineups multiple times) 

The answer is DUANE ALLMAN!!!! 

That footage is perfect visually. Why hasn't it been released? Booo to whoever is sitting on it. 

@rusty what I do notice is it has the same really quick angle cuts as a lot of the footage in the Gregg Allman movie, and in the footage that they used for the video for 'my only true friend'

I'm not a fan of the quick cuts. Clearly they have more footage.
