Bands that don't deserve the R & R Hall of Fame due to a song or two

I always read with great curiosity the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and everyone's thoughts on it, which are entertaining and enlightening, to say the least! So, I thought this thread might be fun (and it's all in fun!):
A list of who shouldn't get in because of a specific SONG that they did! Even if they're already in, and there's a song they did that might disqualify them, include it!
I'll start:
J Geils because of Centerfold
Phil Collins because of Sussudio
Steve Miller because of Abracadabra
Tom Petty because of Spike (too soon?)
Aerosmith because of Big Ten Inch

If you succeed with this the HOF could wind up empty!
This hurts me more than it does you...
ABB - "Keep on Keeping On" or "I Got A Right to be Wrong" or... (I think that LP had a few more too)

J Geils because of Centerfold
Always loved that tune, in fact I bought their greatest hits mostly for that tune.

I'll take "Big 10 Inch" over "I Don't Want to Miss A Thing."
We do have to yank Jimmy Page out of the Hall for that Kanye West thing that he loaned "Kashmir" to.
And we can pelt Carlos Santana with copies of "Supernatural" until he runs.

Great video
Clapton. Wonderful Tonight. (and more than a few others)

The Who - Squeeze Box. Awful.
DQ'd !!! Think I'll spin Live at Leeds tonite!

The Beatles for "Wild Honey Pie." I don't mind Paul singing about sheepdogs and nonsense or Ringo singing about people losing their hair. But they wouldn't give George the time of day on his songs and still put THIS on an album? C'mon. Yer out!

Aerosmith because of Big Ten Inch
That's actually one of my favorite tracks from them. Believe it or not, it's a cover of an old 1940s tune by Bull Moose Jackson so you can't really hold it against Aerosmith.

Jimi Hendrix for "Little Miss Strange." OK, you're right - it's not fair to object to letting the bass player sing once song. Wait, "She's So Fine?" Albums were short back then! We don't have time to waste letting Noel sing multiple boring songs, not too mention Buddy Miles thinking he was the star of the show.

beach boys - kokomo

That wasn't Kanye, that was uh.....a different black hip hop guy.

Good call, jparadise. I looked it up, and it was Puff Daddy.

You mean Mitch Mitchell.

Definitely Buddy. Mitch's playing could be frantic, but he was an original and I think he just meshed with Jimi in a special way. That being said, Band of Gypsys is my favorite Hendrix album and neither of them could've done what the other one did. But Buddy's random scatting and singing... ugh.
Anyway: Miles Davis for "Darn That Dream." There are plenty of classic jazz albums that have some slow songs with vocals that just kill the momentum. I guess it's what people expected at the time. I'm not even saying the songs are that bad if you like crooning from that period, but it's not what I want to hear in the middle of a Miles Davis or Sonny Rollins album. I usually delete them from my iTunes because I never want to hear the.m

Definitely Buddy
Oh.I thought you were saying Buddy Miles played on Little Miss Strange and She's So Fine - you were making a separate point, referring to Jimi's later work, my mistake.
Mitch Mitchell did all of Axis and all but two tracks on Electric Ladyland, Rainy Day, and Still Raining Still Dreaming, which Buddy did, his first studio work with Jimi.
Anyway, great thread concept - I'd say KCJimmy nailed it, this criteria could axe the RRHOF .
