They'll be on Eastern Long Island in April also I believe the 24th looking forward to it .Westhampton Beach Performing Arts.Seating is about 360.This will be so cool seeing Devon &Duane together.
Devon Allman is a very good singer and guitar player. Also he has good energy on stage.
I wasn't impressed with Duane Betts when he would sit in with the Allman Brothers usually on Same Thing or Dreams in the 1990s. Same when he played with Great Southern in the early 2000s. But I am now. Duane Betts is a fine guitar player now and has his A game and Mojo going.
I'm certain if Devon and Duane put together the D&D band or Allman Betts Band it would be fresh and powerful similar to the original lineup of the ABB.

The place is small and sound sucks.
The seating is so cramped you can't move or relax.
Hi priced (NYC) drinks.
Being NYC there are loads of better venues.
Why not the Beacon???

I agree with some of what you say but not all. Is B's cramped? Yep. Are the prices overcharged? Gosh yes, even by NYC standards.
But I don't know if the kids could play The Beacon. I would think it is too big for them. Even given their names.

You cannot be serious. They are not ready to draw the Beacon yet by any stretch. The Wilbur is way smaller and look how it has sold in Boston.

Kudos to Duane....great playing...he’s locked in nicely and the influence of Dickey,vocals and guitar,are all over the place...nice...

Thanks. I guess I assumed that this was going to be a show where the two of them play nothing but ABB material, like a tribute or celebration. Kinda like Jason Bonham is doing.
