If you like the blues I'm sure Alligator Records has touched you in some way over the years. Especially in you happen to live in Chicago. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Pretty amazing.

I've seen a bunch of these artists over the years, met quite a few, hoisted a few beers with them, etc. Seen them mostly in small clubs in Chicago & Detroit but also on some big stages opening for some major acts. The first and only time I saw Albert Collins he opened for The ABB, which happened to be the first time I saw The ABB. 

I've never met Mr. Iglauer but I sure would like to. Anyway, congratulations. Pretty darn cool.
