Hi everyone. What are the best (or better sounding) Nugs or Munck Music recordings from the 2013 or 2014 tours? I already have the final show and all of the Beacon 2009 run. Thanks!
The Beacon 2013 was a RESLLY GOOD run.
@kcjimmy Most of the Beacon shows are real good no matter the year to me.
I was able to get several of the 2009 shows and I especially like the show Eric Clapton did with the band. But now I prefer the band by themselves rather than lots of guests.
I heard rumors 2009 would be the last year and when it wasn't I figured it was just rumors. But when the ABB finally did quit in 2014 suddenly we found out from Warren Haynes, 2009 was indeed to be the last year. But Butch Trucks pressured the rest to give it five more years as Butch didn't have a band like Gregg, TTB and Gov't Mule to carry on with and Butch needed to work.
In 2014 Butch again wanted another five years but Gregg quit after Warren and Derek did. I wish now they had given Butch another few years and maybe Butchie would still be with us. As it is Jaimoe is the only one.
I'm sitting in restaurant right now and Ain't Waisting Time No More from Eat A Peach was on the speakers. The ABB hasn't faded away yet and hopefully it never will.
