Since my wife is out of town I have been cranking the stereo again - been a while.  Been watching the 2 nights that Clapton sat in at the Beacon.  I have to pick her up at the airport after midnight tonight - hope her flight doesn't get delayed.  It was 57 degrees and thunderstorms yesterday, and now there is about an inch of snow and it's in the 20's.  Supposed to snow more and blow with 40 mph winds.  Patiently waiting for spring ...

I think that I can hear it from here.... Surprised Wink

You must be able to because I can hear it from here! Wink

Those were two great shows, Mike ... I remember spotting you in the Loge at the interval of the first show and coming over for a chat ... it was then that we saw a guitar tech bring a pale blue Strat onto the stage ... a guitar that I had seen Clapton playing in London just a few months previously ... and we were both eager with anticipation for the second set ... we were not disappointed !!!!!

Of course her flight was delayed - didn't get in until 1:35 in the morning.

Yes Colin, that was quite a couple of nights!

Goooooooooooooooooood 'ol Won't You Be My Neighbor Day!

So how are everyone's hoops brackets? I survived the first day relatively unscathed. Duke losing would have been sooooo interesting!

So far in good shape, all my final four still alive and I think I can have them all at least make the Elite 8.

No really huge upsets so far.

I was in Central Illinois this weekend cleaning out my dad's house.  He is moving to a senior living high rise - at 97 years old.  Interesting finding things from growing up - and cleaning up 61 years of junk from the house and shed ...

My NCAA pool isn't too bad; I'm in second place. If Nebraska had won last night I think I would have about been on cruise control for the rest of the tourney.

Just back from a family funeral in Zion, quick trip up and back. Sad occasion but good to see several cousins and their families after quite a number of years.

Like millions of others I picked Arizona to win the title which is still possible. Also have Michigan left, the other two Final 4 spots didn't advance.

Saw Robert Cray and George Thorogood last night - they were both very good - Cray is 72 and Thorogood is 76, but they still rocked.

Sounds like a good show. I haven't seen George in probably 30 years and I never caught Cray. Didn't realize he is 72.

Patiently waiting for good weather to play golf ...

It looks like don't start until Wednesday when it warms up and then dodge the rain all week.

I like Michigan tonight even giving the points, they're a team that can dominate both ends of the court.
