Good Afternoon..................

Played golf this morning after about 4 hours sleep, and shot an 85.... even though we had a brief rain delay.....

Great seeing everybody yesterday - Julie (chicagofan), Carin, Lee Ann, moid, Putz, Sweet River, Paco....

oh, and Lee and Lefty were there too.......... 😛

Sad that it was such a small crowd - they actually moved us up because they didn't sell enough tickets - sure made the bathroom and beer lines tolerable though.....

Beautiful day and night, plus it was easy to move between stages to see the blues acts - Lil Ed was entertaining as usual.....

Hope Lee enjoyed his traditional Soulshine call............ 😛

It was too bad about the crowd. But as Sang mentioned, at least the lines were small. I almost (almost) felt bad for the beer vendors as there were no customers.

The best thing about seeing Sang was seeing his brother Dave. 😛

Decided to pass on the Neil Diamond cover band - too tired.............

I sure did have a nice time this weekend.

Went to Deer Creek Friday for Steely Dan/Winwood. We missed a bit of the Winwood set parking and getting through security, but Winwood's singing and playing was awesome as usual. My first time seeing Steely Dan, and those guys are consummate professionals. One TicketBastid voucher well redeemed. I went with a near-lifelong friend who owns a brewery, so I got to catch up with him and try some new beer.

Laid Back was fun, and it was nice to see quite a few of the old gang. It was my first time seeing Jaimoe's band, Frampton and Blackberry Smoke, and I really liked Frampton in particular. Mind blown by Four Day Creep, after assuming that we'd just hear the solo hits..

Not many surprises from Gregg's setlist, but I thought he sounded great as well.
