I saw them at the Christmas Jam and they sucked worse than what they try and call Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I went with my Dad and cousin, we pretty much parked and caught a bus over to the track about an hour before the green flag.

We don't take part in much of the pre-race festivities.

I thought they put on a good show. You could tell Phish is a huge influence.

They aren't the greatest songwriters but it doesn't matter when you the jams are good.

Actually, I have permanent tickets for Bristol, both races, and have had for well over 20 years. I have missed very few races there since 1981. So, I was going to skip Bristol and the air show for Wanee, because I missed Wanee last year. The air show dates have been announced for about a year, I guess.

Did you see that Peyton Manning was there hanging around with Dale Jr pre-race (both shilling for Nationwide.) Peyton got a lot of coverage on TV, went up to "the booth" for a bit too.

Hey Alan, Bristol used to be a hot ticket, sold out, hard to get into - but the stands did not look filled at all, can you confirm? Maybe it has been like that for several years now.

Stands weren't even half full, worst crowd I have ever seen at Bristol, it was pitiful.

Just found out Summer Camp is coming to Illinois, Memorial Weekend. Three days of moe. and three days of Umphrey's McGee. I am not sure what would kill me first, this festival or listening to Soulshine & Rocking Horse on a continual loop for three days.

Now tossing in a field in the middle of nowhere in Illinois can't possibly compare to the satisfaction of tossing one from a mountain at Red Rocks, I am sure there must be some enjoyment.

None of those are there this year. I HATE Umphrey's. I can tolerate moe. I liked them on the tour they did with the ABB. Took THB to see them at The Chicago Theatre and I thought she was going to kill me. I said they weren't thaaaaat bad.

Got tix for the two nights. Suffice to say, we did not return for night two.
