Sandwiched in between those 2 wonder*full tours is the always a*may*zen, ridiculously fun Sarasota Blues Fest, which shakes down Saturday, October 24 this year. Headliners include: Little Feat, Duke Robillard, Larry McCray, and Bruce Katz w. Special Guest Floyd Miles (We love you, Floyd!!).
Tickets for the Sarasota Blues Fest are only $20 in advance. I *think* that even includes a kiss from Baboona – if you can catch her! That little woman is a big terror once she gets behind the wheel of a golf cart! 😉
In any case, I’ll be there and hope to see you too! For more information visit:
On another happy note, Layla Allman wants all her ABB peeps to know that she and her band Picture Me Broken are finally up on ITunes after 4 years of plugging away. Yessss! Go, Layla and PMB!! Their link is:
The band also won an MTV VMA for Best Bay Area Breakout Artist. They were featured on MTV2 and were crazy good. Layla and Picture Me Broken may not play her Daddy’s blues, but they just might be the blues of their generation!! They wish you well and thank you for all of your support over their “growing” years!
Speaking of wishes, please join us in wishing a very happy birthday to Yonrico Scott … “Happy birthday, Yonrico!!!”
Please also join us in zenning positive, healing vibes to all those knowingly and unknowingly in need.
Take care and know that you are loved,
Lana and Rowland
