Hey there sweet family,
Jaimoe has a Friday, 2/8/08, gig at the Café Luna in Simsbury, CT featuring singer Theresa Wright. The gig is from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM. Saturday, 2/9/08, Jaimoe’s back at the Café Luna from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM with jazz singer Carol August. Both Theresa and Carol are great singers!
Jaimoe’s Bebop & Beyond Band will play from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Café Luna every Sunday throughout February, because of prior bands that cancelled, etc. In March the sessions will be from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. These are Bebop & Beyond performances. They are not open mic sessions. However, Jaimoe and the band will invite musicians, as they see fit, to play. (aside – if we were musicians we’d start planning our trip to Simsbury now!)
We’ve sent you a lot of Allman Brothers Band tour updates lately and will use this Peach-O-Gram to consolidate the news …

Then Gregg Allman (vocals and keyboards), Butch Trucks (drums and tympani), Jaimoe (drums), Warren Haynes (vocals, lead and slide guitar), Derek Trucks (slide and lead guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass) and Marc Quinones (congas and percussion) – just in case you didn’t know who’s in the band! 😉 – will bring “Mayhem in Manhattan” back to the Big Apple as they do every spring, with 15 shows at the Beacon Theatre kicking off May 5. Tickets for the Allman Brothers Band’s Beacon Theatre shows go on sale to the general public this Saturday, February 9.
