The Allman Brothers Band

Newsletter: Beacon and Wanee-O-Gram

Hey there sweet family,

Wow! It’s the first night of the Beacon run and ABBCujo is keeping everyone, all over the world, updated as to what the ABB is playing song-by-song on the Guest Book at AllmanBrothersBand.com. What a great service, by a great guy, for a great band! Thanks, Cuj’! Reading your updates is almost like being there …

The first set (unofficially) was:

Allman Brothers Band
Beacon Theatre
March 20, 2007

8:25 Hot Lanta
Don’t Keep Wonderin’
Trouble No More
Firing line
Who’s Been Talking
Stand Back
Stormy Monday
Maydel
Instrumental Illness

Check AllmanBrothersBand.com all during the Beacon run for complete set lists, reviews, special guests, and maybe even some pix. Oh yeah, and the Guest Book is *the* place to find out about ABBeacon parties and get-togethers. Not that we like to party or get together or anything 😉

As much as we’d all love to be at the Beacon, the ABB knows it’s not possible, so they’re keeping the love train rolling and heading to Live Oak, FL just 6 days after the Beacon wraps for the Wanee Festival April 13 and 14. And that’s not just the ABB, sisters and brothers. Wanee features Oteil & the Peacemakers, Gov’t Mule, The Derek Trucks Band and many, many more of your faves. Meanwhile, back in NYC Vaylor Trucks’ band, Bonobos Convergence, a “New Earth Funk Jam Trio” is playing an after-Beacon gig this Friday night, March 23, at the Ace of Clubs, 9 Great Jones St., with Magic Orange and Doug Ratner. Be there or be … disappointed! 😉

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana and Rowland
