Congratulations to Angie Callahan and Jimmy Palumbo, winners of the “Fun in the Sun” contest sponsored by Hittin’ the Web and the Sun Theatre . Angie and Jimmy both won a pair of tix to see Gregg Allman & Friends Sunday, 11/4, at the Sun Theatre in Anaheim by being willing to announce something personal here.
Angie’s announcement is about a happy anniversary:
STILL IN LOVE AFTER 25 YEARS!!!
Woody and Angie Callahan of Hesperia, CA are pleased to announce the celebration of their 25th
wedding anniversary on October 30, 2001. Their secret? A common love of music that began when they first met in 1976 when they were both hired on at the Wherehouse Records in the city of Orange, CA. Those first dates were spent with Woody teaching Angie to play the guitar. When not playing they would spend hours in his Toyota Landcruiser on top of a hill at night watching the sky and listening to an array of music dominated by the Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead, and the Marshall Tucker Band to name a few. They went on to marry and have 2 sons, Shawn and Dustin. They both hoped for a little girl but it was not to be. But if they had a little girl her name was to be Jessica (I think you know why!). It’s been 25 years of ups and downs but they hung together through thick and thin and are now more in love than ever. Their favorite band today? That’s right, still the Allman Brothers Band, for their music is timeless and soulful and still touches their hearts with sweet memories.
Jimmy’s announcement is a thank you:
Thank You, Family and Friends!
I would like to tell my family and friends how much I love them and how much I appreciate all the love and help they have given me as I pursue my career in acting and comedy. Although, I have had success in the business, I realize that without them I would never be able to still be going after my dream. Without your friends and family, you are nothing. No matter how talented you are. And so I would like to thank them with all my heart.
