Yes… Derek was there, and man oh man did he make his presence known. In fact, this show made some Bob Marley lyrics come to life for me like never before. When the music hits, you feel no pain.” The weather may have been the worst I have ever experienced at an outdoor concert. It was in the lower forties with a constant rain/mist. The Brothers made it feel like 75 and sunny on this night, well not quite, but had the music not been so good, I’m not sure how many would have been left standing. Thanks Gregg, Butch, Jaimoe, Warren, Derek, Oteil, and Marc for another great summer tour.

For those who can’t wait… here is the setlist:

I’m actually wondering the same thing about Derek.
Is he playing at this show? If not who is?

I’ve answered my own question — just learned that Derek’s potential scheduling difficulties have been worked out and he will be playing at Red Rocks after all, according to informed sources. All will be well in the mountain paradise that is Red Rocks!

I’m hearing through the grapevine that Derek may not be playing at Red Rocks due to Eric Clapton commitments. Anyone have any information about this? Fans want to know these things.

What’s up everyone? noticed that they don’t allow camping at the park around Red Rocks. I was just wondering where the best spots were to stay around there. I’m heading out from the East Coast to catch mule and the allman brothers at the end of this month. I was really hoping to find a friendly camping spot, maybe get a little loud in the weee hours of the mornin’ with some like minded folks. If camping isn’t the gig anymore around there though, where’s the most chill hotel to stay at around those parts. Any info would be incredible thanks everyone. peace.

I am a huge Allmans fan, but I have to say that Yonder Mountain is a kick ass bluegrass band. Go early and stay late!

Cheers
