I agree with you wholeheartedly. I live in Escanaba, MI & was more than happy to only have to drive to Green Bay to see both the ABB & Gov’t Mule in the same show.

I also saw them in Appleton in ’04.

Last month I drove to Clarkston, MI @ the DTE Energy Theater which is about a 400 mile drive. I saw both the ABB & Robert Randolph & the Family Band. This was the 5th time that I have seen the ABB & they were so tight and powerful.

Bottom line – since the band now is only doing a limited number of shows go and support them in our neck of the woods. There are plenty of other venues in areas that will be glad to have them.

i am so jacked up for this show! i was supposed to see them in 04′ in appleton but i was deployed earlier and never got to see the show. cant wait till tonight

you got to be kidding me?! i’ll take the ABB anytime & anywhere! why would you even say something like that? wait to the state fair? what a joke! you’ll be waiting a while. missing the show just because its in Greenbay, thats your loss, and our gain!

GreenBay is an excellent place to see music. Minimal crowds, easy parking, great venue, low law enforcement hassles(lax usually) and a beautiful city…So why the fuss… Take the whole day off, come early see the Bay and dance the night away~!!!!!

How dissappointing.
A Tuesday starting at 6pm! In Green Bay at that! Don’t get me wrong, GB’s ok…for Packer games….music….I don’t think so.
I was so looking forward to getting my Allman Brothers “fix” this year, especially with Government Mule…guess I’ll just have to hope they come to STATE FAIR. *fingers are crossed*
