This was one hell of a show. Heard lots of new songs. Woman across the river and the instrumental blew my mind away. I wished this concert was a bit longer but it was opening nite and first time they played since last summer. These guys just keep getting better and better year after year. Hearing mountain jam was a first for me especially having it go straight into Statesboro Blues. That caught me off guard. Looking forward to seeing them in summer in Holmdel and hopefully Camden NJ. Thanks for a great show guys.

I would love to get my hands on the 3/14/02 show at the Beacon. I was lucky enough to attend!

Please email me with info on how I can get a CDR of this show.

Much appreciated.

Other than the usual knockouts: Midnight Rider, One Way Out, Mountain Jam, and Statesboro; this show absolutely rocked. Heart of Stone was a very pleasant surprise, you just can’t go wrong with the Stones. Great version of rockin’ horse, long ass jam that blew me away. But the real moment of the night was Derek and Warren wailing away on Worried Down with the Blues. What an amazing blues rendition they pulled off, probably the best song of the night.

I don’t know who else has posted a review and I don’t want to be repetative but here goes… This was the tightest band I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. Everything was so together. It was amazing. The setlist was mostly bluesy stuff and had 5 or so new songs. (all good) that new instrumental really was tearin’ it up. WOW. I was hopin for a few more old classics but the way this band sounded they could have all been new songs and I still would have said it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. Wow Gregg sounded good. Trouble no more was totally smokin. When he came back in with goodbye baby……… the crowd flipped the soul and power that makes that band is as strong as ever. I don’t know what else to write. It was like a dream. The drum and bass solo were too short and well, I guess I would’ve likes a longer show but this band is at the height of their game RIGHT NOW. Go see them. WOW.

I hope and pray you guys come to KC and Red Rocks this summer. I need some southern blues funk music in my blood. The season for the hippie hippie shake is just around the corner. You guys carry the torch, you know that. Would love to make the Beacon. Hell, I just put everything off and tour with you. Peace be with us all!

Hey guys, I’m going opening night and the 19th. Hoping to see some great shows and I doubt I’ll be disappointed. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE play One Way Out, I’ve gone to at least 10 Allman shows and never heard that song (my favorite). Anyways, hope to see y’all there, especially any fine ladies that may be in the crowd. I’m 18 and in Row M Seat 102 in the upper balcony, baby!
