Last FRIDAY of 2017

Well ... we didn't even manage to finish the Christmas Eve Sunday sing-a-long ... it would seem the draw of facebook is greater than that of the Lounge these days ...

I guess since the demise of the ABB folks are stopping by this site less and less ... and with electronic trading globally superseding the good old BnP then folks are not stopping by the Trades Section any more either ...

Such a shame ... I have made some good friends through this site and this "Lounge" and you all continue to be treasured memories in my life ...

I hope all who read this have had a good Christmas / holiday period ... and I wish you all the very best for 2018 ...

Very nice sentiments Colin. Grin

Facebook? What's that (never have joined that)?

Hope you have a wonderful New Year also!

Coot* still needs his nurse to help him get to this place.

Real time posting on facebook would blow her mind.

You can't get social media savvy caretakers when you're paying $3.50 an hour.

Heh heh.

Sadly, very few people will see that witty missive I just dropped here.

Sadly, true ... but still a few stalwarts here stuck on the bar stools ...

Was yesterday.

That's the problem with being old and retired ... you just don't know what day it is from one day to the next ... I will join in the Sunday sing-a-long if anybody else turns up ... but it seems to be difficult to get a four part harmony these days!!

That album and a few other's got me around South America in 1970 while in the Navy and sampling local herb.

Whilst I like most of their stuff, "To Our Children's Children's Children" and "Question of Balance" are my favourite two Moody Blues albums ...
