Valerie had her surgery yesterday. It was a long one but the doctor is confident he removed all of the cancerous nodes along with her thyroid. She'll still see an oncologist in a few weeks to undergo radiation test. Hopefully all will be clear then, too, otherwise she'll be undergoing radiation and chemo. We're glad it's over!
Me, on the other hand, have been having severe pain in my right leg to the point of barely able to walk. You can relate, Ron. The spine doctor thinks it's my hip, so on to the next specialist, an orthopedic doctor, and an MRI of my hip.
Hope you all are healthy and feeling tip-top.

So pleased that Valerie's surgery appears to have gone well ... wishing her all the best for a speedy recovery and hopefully a clean bill of health so no radio/chemo is necessary ...

Woo-Hoo ... Gov't Mule gig in London finally confirmed for Oct 28th ... eagerly awaiting tickets to go on sale now ...
Also ... the first ever Mule-O-Ween to be played outside the USA is to take place in an as yet unnamed country in Europe ... given that they play Parisin France on Oct 30th and Hamburg in Northern Germany on Nov 2nd it could well be Amsterdam in Holland ... if so I may be tempted to go as I can fly there from my local airport in Norwich ... keeping my fingers crossed ...
