Ive read alot about Derek always playing in E tho getting Minors remains a mystery for me. I was wondering if Duane always done that as well. any tips on Minor sound would be appreciated too. Thanks and keep slidin.

I believe he used open E in dedicated slide songs like Statesboro Blues and Trouble No More. I think the rest of the time he used standard tuning, the only exception being Little Martha.

All slide open E except Dreams and Mountain Jam in standard.
