I am the daughter of the former roadie/ sound man John Murray, better known as Johnson. He worked with the ABB for about 15 years through the mid 70's to the late 80's. I am curious if anyone has any photos of my dad, or events from back during those days? or if there is anyone on here that even remembers him, he is still in contact with a lot of the band members but mentions wishing he knew how to contact a lot of other people from back then too. My father was a road manager back in the 70’s. We lost him 10 years ago but I would be interested in knowing if your father knew him. If you happened to have any pictures of my dad, that would be so cool. I’m sure you have more of the actual band members though. Please let me know if he knows my dad. His name was Scooter Herring. Since he’s no longer with us, I crave to hear from anyone who knew him. I miss him so and love him so. Even if your dad doesn’t know him, tell him hello from Scooter’ s daughter. I actually brought him from Batavia New York to California and helped get him his first job at Obies sound and we traveled extensively together for years and years.
