Whose responsibility is it to provide security for the nations/states and countries of the Middle East? Is each country responsible for themselves with local partners assisting them if/when they ask?

The recent attacks in Istanbul were conducted by nationals from Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, a Turkish government official said on Thursday. Yeni Safak said the organiser of the attack was suspected to be a man called Akhmed Chatayev, of Chechen origin. Chatayev is identified on a United Nations sanctions list as a leader in ISIS responsible for training Russian-speaking militants, and as wanted by Russian authorities. The Hurriyet newspaper named one of the attackers as Osman Vadinov, also Chechen, and said he had come from Raqqa, the heart of ISIS-controlled territory in Syria. Turkish officials did not confirm to Reuters that either Chatayev or Vadinov were part of the investigation.

We have been vigorously using our planes, weapons and personnel in this fight against ISIS. Is it our job to go all over the world to fight their fighters, while other nations do less than we are to protect their own people?

We launched airstrikes that killed at least 250 ISIS militants.

Now most would say, well that is good isn't it? The problem is, when we kill their people, they have reason to retaliate, to try to launch attacks here. Do we want attacks here? Then maybe we should let OTHER countries manage their own lands.

Again I ask, whose responsibility is the security of Syria? Doesn't that belong to Syria and their ally, Russia? We will not continue to live here without being attacked here IF we keep attacking them over there.

I sincerely want people to think about whose responsibility is it to provide security to the countries of the Middle East. We cannot do so without risking being brought into a war that will become a world war. I put up the link in the other thread about Iran re-iterating it's desire to obliterate Israeli territories.

The IRGC's second-in-command, Brigadier General Hossein Salami spoke to worshippers at Friday prayers, marking the end of Ramadan by telling them that Iran had 100,000 Qaem missiles already in Lebanon ready to be launched. He also said there were tens of thousands of long range missles that could be used on Israel from other parts of the Muslim world.

If this were to occur, the US being Israel's ally would be called upon to respond to defend Israel. That would pit the US against Russia, Iran and many other nations. So, once again, whose responsibility is it to provide security to middle east countries? Jordan has not been joining us in attacking Isis in Syria nor have other states in the region. Why are we there? We need to respect other countries borders and sovereignty, as well as our own, and stay within our own borders. That way people do not have a reason to come here to attack us, or launch attacks from within if they are already here. To not take that stance assures we will be dragged into a third world war, yet everyone stays so quiet about it.

No brainer. Whether or not anyone likes it, that's just the way it is and that isn't going to change anytime soon. So Iran better not attack Israel, or the whole sh*thouse is gonna go up in flames.
