I wonder if the loyalty pledge is legally binding. I have my doubts and I'm sure Trump does too.

What a load of crap. It seems like a calcuated & desperate idea. I hope he tells them to shove it.

Loyalty - Trump is only loyal to himself.

Can anyone really see him supporting another GOP candidate should he not win the nomination? Even funnier is the idea of him on the campaign trail for any of the others.

I think Trump has little to no respect to the RNC chair, Reince Prebus. He is just a party hack and Trump knows this. Love to be a fly on the wall in that room. I can hear Reiince screaming now, "Respect my authority!!"

Dennis Rodman and How Trump Is Winning the Athlete Vote
Now Trump and Kim Jong-un have something in common.

BY JACK HOLMES

Donald Trump's rise to the top of the Republican presidential dogpile is remarkable for a number of reasons. At the front of the list: He's got some very unexpected constituencies certifiably smitten. He leads by 18 points in South Carolina, where you might not expect the locals to appreciate his brash, arrogant persona and Queens diction. He leads by 24 in New Hampshire, where you might not expect the locals to appreciate his brash, arrogant persona and Queens diction. But he's also managed to garner support among other, less surprising groups, and as The Guardian reports today, that includes rich, famous athletes.

He's received endorsements from former Dallas Cowboys star Terrell Owens, college football legend Herschel Walker, and former All-Pro New England Patriots tackle Matt Light. The latter attended a Trump fundraiser in Massachusetts on Friday, where he spoke to The Guardian about why he's backing the real estate tycoon. "I think he's not a guy that's afraid to say it like it is," Light said, adding that Trump is "a guy that's willing to stand up there and take all the heat and say what he thinks and say what means." Light didn't expressly back the Donald's immigration plan, but offered, "We need to protect our borders. We need to protect people around our borders."

As with many Trump fans, Light's support seems tied to the candidate's willingness to say whatever comes to mind—the standard rules of politics be damned. Also, he sees Trump as decisive: "Do we need people to have clear ideas? Yes. And does Trump have those things? Sure."

Perhaps Trump's biggest endorsement coup came in the form of NBA Hall of Fame center Dennis Rodman, who apparently is on sabbatical from serving as the United States' Very Unofficial Ambassador to North Korea. Trump praised Rodman when he visited the hermit kindom last year and played a basketball game to honor Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, whom Rodman calls 'a friend.' The Rodman-Trump détente looked to be at risk after Rodman started telling people that Trump had offered to accompany him on his next trip to Pyongyang, however:

Trump tweet response to this: Dennis Rodman was either drunk or on drugs (delusional) when he said I wanted to go to North Korea with him. Glad I fired him on Apprentice!

Trump also claims to be friends with Derek Jeter and Tom Brady, but neither have, as yet, officially boarded the U.S.S. Trump. While Ohio Gov. John Kasich has tied up the coveted Charles Barkley endorsement, the Donald looks to be leading the athlete stakes at this stage of the game.

No it is not a legally binding document and will be largely irrelevant.

They need to sign a pledge to conservative voters, if anything. A pledge to fight for conservatism instead of rolling over like pansies whenever it really matters.

Does anyone really think this pledge will keep him from doing whatever the hell he wants anyway? If so, then you haven't really been paying attention.

Ladies and gentlemen, your next POTUS....
