Tied to the Whipping Post...

Takin my laundry off the line. Thx much for kind thoughts and support. Love to all. "Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy..."

Brer Brer, it's all good, hope things get better for you soon.
As to this ol' place, it's a bit of a shell of what it once was, but in many ways that's a good thing. At one point it got about as bad as a message board can get.
And, alot of us don't agree to disagree, actually...some of us really don't like each other, period. 😛

All of my very best of Karma to you Sir.
She has shown her true colors by abandoning her offspring; you have shown yours be being there for your challenging son.
You deserve every accolade for your efforts. And a new lover who recognizes that you're a REAL man.............

Thx amigos. Am slowly switching the soundtrack from "Whipping Post" to "Dreams" and hopefully before long will be back to "Blue Sky"!

With "Standback" for protection against further abuse.

Man BR I am really sorry to hear what you are going through.
You are a good man to stand by your son in his time of need. Nothing is more important than children IMHO.
Good things happen to good people so hang in there.
Feel free to vent when need be as we have your back.
Peace

You'll be better off in the long run without a heartless soul dragging you down. She set you free.

It may seem like that at times, but just let somebody from another website come in and give somebody trouble. LOOK OUT!!!!

Over the last few months I have literally been living in the song "Whipping Post"
So, apologies if I have been kind of agro around here lately. I mean more agro than usual. No offense meant to anyone, I think y'all a great bunch, never seen so many folks able to agree to disagree and go on having a great time.[Edited on 7/11/2015 by BrerRabbit]
It's better that she left, rather than stay and you both live in disharmony. You may meet someone else who will accept the challenges in your life and be happy to make a life with you. Broken relationships hurt, but they open the way for new people to come into your life.
People are unhappy when they don't get what they want/need. You can't change yourself to please somebody else. Finding someone who appreciates you for who you are and believes the same things as you will give you what you need for a long term relationship. It's not about being right or wrong. It's about shared perspective, not deferring to the other person just to keep the peace and being miserable denying who you are in the process.
Don't look for blame or 'if only'. It didn't work. Grieve and then rebuild your life as best as you can. The past is done, you have to leave it there. Anything can happen in the future, even good things, so clean out the place of things that no longer belong there, slowly, but do that. Old memories will only bring you pain, and you got to let that go.

Here's some good info. for people who just want to watch and observe what's going on with these exercises and to form good reports.
Here is a list of suggestions for the civilian surveillance teams;
1. Do not interfere with or block military operations. Keep a safe distance to observe and report.
2. Consider multiple facebook pages with each state posting to their own to avoid confusion. Try to post with smartphones in real time. Anyone not observing should be sharing on social media. We need as many eyes on the events as possible.
3. Remember SALUTE in EVERY report
S= Size. What size force? How many men? How many vehicles?
A= Activity. What are they doing?
L= Location. Where are they? Do NOT use military locations like grid coordinates or even longitude and latitude but use civilian terms so people on social media can keep up or even go and take photos as well.
U= Uniform. What are they wearing? Military uniforms? Civilian clothes?
T= Time
E= Equipment. Armored vehicles? Weapons? Commo equip? Chem suits? Gas masks?4. Special forces units will use encrypted communications. DO NOT attempt to hack these communications. That will get you in trouble. Special forces units will be practicing OPSEC and will divulge little. Instead monitor secondary transmissions such as police and fire units or city civilian employees using radios as they are not trained in OPSEC and will be blabbermouths. They may give a lot of useful info.
5. DO NOT carry firearms while observing these operations. Do not give govt agents any leeway to claim you threatened someone.
6. The teams should be small two or three man teams so as to go less noticed and vehicles and teams should be rotated as the operations unfold to lessen the likelihood of detection.
7. Use cell phones for commo between units instead of radios to avoid jamming and eavesdropping on your conversations.
8. Photograph license plates of any civilian vehicles that military personnel are using. Post the photos.
9. Be aware of blocking agents like "random" police showing up to pull your team over to check IDs or whatever. This is to stall you. That is why you need multiple small teams so backup units can maintain observation of military operations. Again, rotate vehicles and personnel. Keep them guessing.
These days people's reporters have to be more savvy.
Gina, those are all very good points and relevant to this thread.
BrerRabbit, best wishes to you.

Brother rabbit, hang tough, play some Revival for your soul…love is everywhere. Let your Soulshine.

Gina I will certainly remember to salute in every report.
And, thx for the support it makes a difference, and same from me to anyone else out there who is getting his or her heart cut out like an Aztec sacrifice... I am not the only one for sure! Upon us all a little rain must fall...

Sorry for your troubles. Remember 'this too shall pass."
As for Bhawk, well, nobody likes a Kansas Commie anyway.
