Burkas should be banned immediately. They are hardly a positive symbol in that they symbolize the world that ISIS wants humanity to return to. Burkas support the rights of patriarchy and the inequality of women. They are a security issue as militants can easily hide under them. They should be banned from all public spaces and that includes cars driving down public streets.
There are plenty of ways Muslim women can retain their modesty without the burka.

Isis wants women to wear the niqab which is the full face covering and body covering. The burqa is a regional covering worn by women in Afghanistan and Pakistan which is part of the village values culture. These villages want to preserve and protect their women's privacy and dignity. they do not want them oogled or to become objects of desire of other men.
Originally during the time of the prophet, peace be upon him civilization was digressing and women were showing their cleavage, so religious men sought to have the women cover themselves. The advice was given to the Prophet, peace be upon him, from Gabriel (the archangel) that women should cover themselves when in public and when they pray they should have their heads covered. It was never mandated that the women had to cover their faces or their hands, though the men at that time felt it was better for the women to do so, and it became customary.
The Iranian women commonly wear a shorter headscarf which I think is nice, though I would like to see part of their face covered.
There is a lot of variance even within the Muslim communities in the US when it comes to Muslim women's clothing, but to ban the burqa entirely is a restriction on them following their religion as they see fit to do.
I really need to work on a book, which shows the correct Islam and the commonality with Christianity, because there has to be unity under one banner of religion when the anti-Christ rises. We cannot still be having sectarian wars with different religions saying that they are the only correct one. God gave guidance to each group, the Jews, the Christians, the Muslims, if each one adhered to what they were given, there would be no need for wars.
By the way the headcovering for Muslims and Christians (yes it is in your Bible) is mandated only when she is praying. The reason being man is the glory of God, and woman is the glory of man. She humbles herself when praying with her head covered. Jewish men wear a yamaka, Muslim men wear a cap as part of the tradition when they pray. The more religious ones keep their turbans on.
As to Isis, I think that the Afghan talibs have a more correct version of Islam, 100% correct? I can point to things I think are not 100% correct, but I also need to study more. Isis wants a worldwide caliphate, they do not want secular law, God doesn't want secular law either, he will preserve some of Isis because they will adhere to the laws he gives thru Jesus when he comes back this one last time prior to Judgement Day. I will have more on the prophecies, but even the Bible says Damascus will be left in a heap of ruins, and not be rebuilt. Where is the fighting going on now? Syria. The heap of ruins it will be left in will probably be from nuclear weapons, because with anything less than that, it could be rebuilt.
The scriptures and prophecies will be fulfilled, they were given thousands of years ago and they are all coming true. What do you think they were just lucky soothsayers and visionaries?
Taking down flags is the beginning of erasing borders and sovereignties, though in this case, the civil war has been over for awhile so there is no need to fly a civil war flag at state courthouses when that side did not win. Later on, all flags of all the states and all the countries will come down and the anti-Christ will rule from Jerusalem.

200,000 tweets are coming out of Syria every day from Isis, and they want attacks on military installations and police in the US. How many people must there be involved for there to be 200,000 tweets per day? We may already be in the next war on our own soil, between Muslims who want Islamic governance and others who want to keep secular law. There are big questions and the answers are complex and long term.

Actually it has been discovered that the shooter was from Kuwait and had went back to the Middle East before this happened. From the CNN info. it appears he was on a suicide mission as he had extra ammo in his vest and multiple weapons with him. One of the slain tried to warn others who were able to get out, but he himself was shot multiple times and died from his wounds.

You cannot purchase assault rifles on-line. They have to be handled from one Class 3 FFL holder to another Class 3 FFL holder through a licensed dealer.
