I'm not a fan of Hilary but I completely agree with the above comment. I have always been impressed with her sharp and quick mind but had the feeling the past few years that she was not the Hilary of old.
Watching the farce that was the recent Republican waste of tax payer money for pure political gain circus made it clear to me that she is as sharp as ever. She can weave and dodge with facts and insightful well articulated thoughts even while you know she's not always truthful. In other words, a very good politician.
Carson on the other hand, is simply not very insightful or articulate and seems to make up crazy ideas he thinks will appeal to the rabid far right base. Sometimes it seems completely on the fly without any real thought. I honestly think he has no desire to be president and is simply trying to create a brand for himself that he can milk for money after the election.

I don't find it troubling that the Democrats wouldn't take part in a political witch hunt since this incident had already been investigated to death. I find it more troubling that the Republicans fought so hard not to release entire transcripts, so they could pick and choose what to release and release information out of context.
