Steph Curry won the MVP of the NBA yesterday as most expected, receiving 100 of a possible 130 first-place votes. From this morning's San Jose Mercury News: "In the end, Curry won in a landslide. He was the only player to appear on every ballot, receiving 26 second-place votes, 3 third-place votes and a fifth-place vote. Runner-up James Harden collected 87 second-place votes."

Someone who is qualified enough to be one of the panelists for the NBA MVP Award thinks that FOUR PLAYERS were ahead of Stephen Curry for MVP? May I make a request of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver? That person must be sought ought and executed by firing squad. If not, at a minimum, disqualified from ever voting for the MVP award again.

I'm sure Steph doesn't get much press outside the bay area......people have no idea how freeking good he is and how good he is as a person.....Called a kid that came to a game he didn't play....The kid was devastated because he traveled a couple hundred miles to see Steph play. It was after they had clinched and the team sat him that night. Steph got wind that the kid was really sad and he called him and talked to the kid....how many MVP pro's do that

I don't follow Basketball but Steph is just a really special human being....I also heard of 70+ 3 pointers in a row at practice....amazing

Well said, Ron. He's the kind of athlete that public relations departments of professional sports teams hope and pray they'll come across once in their career. With other superstars giving one word answers at interviews, Curry is always there to politely answer their sometimes obvious and repetitive questions. No matter what a jaw-dropping performance he has just given, he'll always give credit to those around him. And he does a ton of charity work as Ron alluded to. I hadn't even heard about the kid who missed seeing Steph play. That's why he's loved 'round these parts........an incredible basketball player who's really got his head on straight.
