sounds like Rubio is gonna have a tough night, we'll see. i do have a problem with him using the "company" card for personal expenses. as a business owner i would have a talk with someone who did that and how it was not appropriate and don't do it again.

hmmmm 1st question is about the people not counted as unemployed because they have given up looking.

i'm not sure how christies answer gets them to start looking.

huckabie....hmmm as a manufacturer i don't feel like the tax code is holding my company back. some of his answer had more to do with workers more than me as an owner.

santorum.....he is right that there is a problem with finding skilled workers in todays manufacturing world. but his answer seemed to lose track of the reasons why.

It is standard practice for executives and many others to use a company credit card for personal purchases. Marco Rubio had express written permission to do so. He also, which is SOP, paid his personal charges immediately and long before the credit card payment came due.

I do it, my boss our CEO and President and almost everyone on our floor as well. Never had a problem when audited or examined by outside ethics review firms.

if there was really free health care why are my company's health care bills so high? i've watched the costs increase over the last 20 yrs by 10% or more every year almost until after the ACA was passed, now we have seen single digit increases the last 2 yrs.

that's nice mule but i do not allow it or do it myself.

i will make zero interest loans and take it out of a paycheck over time if asked though. unless it is abused.

There's a reason the opening act is...well... the opening act. None of these have a chance of being the nominee. I'm more interested in seeing the dynamics between Trump and the soft spoken one.

I keep wondering if Carson will provide more detail on his tax plan, the elimination of deductions (specifics), and how his plan will generate enough revenue to support the functions of government. I hope he doesn't throw the 1) efficiency angle and 2) growth as a result of reduced taxes. C'mon Big Ben, step up to the plate and show us how the numbers work. I'll be shocked if we ever hear the specifics of the plan because I'm guessing that they don't exist. Any fans of Carson - feel free to answer for him.

we'll see martin in an hour.

so far, i would say these are important question asked in a proper way. there is no push back from the moderators but there hasn't been a reason to. jindel pushed back at huckabie, maybe that is how the evening will go. let the candidates call each other out on their answers.

santorum on the auto bailout......i totally disagree. so many businesses went out of business even with the bailout. it would have been a bloodbath if that didn't happen....far beyond the auto industry....to all the services that support it even down to food services....everything in between.

jindel....well trade deals are only fair to those who they benefit. whether foreign or domestic. i tend to think that politicians push for the ones that are supported by their donors

The cutsey preacher with quick & satirical tongue playing to the evangelicals. Vanity is a wonderful thing to stay relevant in the public's eyes? Just where is Huckleberry polling? I'm surprised he hasn't brought snakes on the stage.
