The author was also a guest on the NPR program "On Point" yesterday. Fascinating hour of radio too say the least. I wanted to call in and ask a question regarding the internal power struggle that is reputed to be underway between the "regular" military and the expanded role, size, funding, command structure, etc. of the Special forces command.

I'm relating to the fact that some within the Defense Dept. recognize that Special Forces are the units that fight our wars now and that perhaps we don't need huge naval fleets, thousands of tanks and armored vehicles, and multiple air wings for every branch of the military. Nor do we need a strategic plan to fight two mass global wars at the same time....In other words, the Cold War is over and perhaps we should plan, equip, fund, etc. the military accordingly and not based on what's best for certain arms manufacturers, congressmen, Senator's and various other players within the military/industrial/congressional/security complex.

The "old guard" within the complex so to speak is NOT going quietly from what I understand...

Wait till the new world order rolls out their plans for America. Then you will see the Oath Keepers and other militarily trained militias use their skills in a do or die fight against the evil doers in ways not seen in the history of mankind. They won't go down and give in to the tyranny that is to come.
