I always thought Jim Bruer deserved special recognition!

The human condition, throughout history, would be so much better off, and further advanced, without religion and the fervent belief in these imaginary beings. There's no god, no satan, no nobody out there watching all of this and pulling puppet strings. There's just us, making up boogeymen and saviors when things go bump in the night.

Who created the world?

Who created God? How did he come into being?

God doesn't ask all that much from anyone

Ok, so then why all the hoohah about the TRUE sects, and who's got the inside line on God's favor?

On one hand you say there is a strict code of chosen believers in a special group, on the other hand you say all anyone has to do is a few simple things and St. Peter will stamp your passport at the gate.

That's like letting people with General Admission tickets sit in front row center.

One of the problems I have with the concept of heaven is the idea that you can do all sorts of horrible, cruel, dishonest, nasty, vial stuff ... and minutes before you die, you beg forgiveness - denounce satan and all that jazz and you're in.

Imagine a scene in heaven: you're walking around and you keep coming face to face with all the a$$holes who really fwcked you over in life. They keep walking up to saying stuff like, "Jim! Long time-no see, buddy! Remember that time I swindled you out of your life savings in that investment deal I snaked you into? It was the weekend after I drugged and date-raped your daughter! Boy! Those were the days! Hey! I ran into that tele-evangelist who conned your mother out of her retirement nest egg and caused her to die in that cinder block, roach infested county-run nursing home! He's here, too! He's standing over there by that corrupt politician who diverted money that was supposed to feed and clothe orphans into his account to pay for his mansions and greens fees! So whattaya say, buddy? Put 'er there! It's all water under the bridge now, right? Isn't divine forgiveness great?"

It's like having a bunch of laws enacted that were never ever intended to be enforced in the first place! 😉

Unfortunately that exactly how a lot of evangelical churches sell their product - whatever you've done, accept God and you're in. Quantity over quality. Ever year there would be the same traveling preachers on our college campus preaching and instigating. One of the pamphlets they passed out featured a serial killer explaining to a nice old couple on a crashing plane that they were going to hell but he was going to heaven because he'd been saved and accepted Gee Oh Dee. Isn't that a nice thought?

God doesn't ask all that much from anyone

Ok, so then why all the hoohah about the TRUE sects, and who's got the inside line on God's favor?

On one hand you say there is a strict code of chosen believers in a special group, on the other hand you say all anyone has to do is a few simple things and St. Peter will stamp your passport at the gate.

That's like letting people with General Admission tickets sit in front row center.

You asked about the sects, and there are and will be three groups from those different religious denominations (Jews, Christians & Muslims) who have followed what they have been given. They don't have to worry about Judgement Day or what happens to them in the hereafter. They are doing what God has asked people to do. They will have eternal happiness.

There are some that are more devout than others, some will follow the guidance more than others or be more successful at doing the things God wants. There are different levels in heaven, God is of course at the highest level, others are on whatever level matches their enlightenment.

As for getting in at the gate, yes many people will get in. It's like concert seating, some will be in the cheap seats further away from God, than the ones who are closer to him. Even the prophets and messengers are on different levels.

There are people who will live decent lives, there are others who will have done extraordinary things while they were live, they will be closer to God. You don't have to be a religious scholar or monk. You will not go to hell if you do not follow a strict code of religious rules. God's laws speak for themselves, just follow those and do your best. He is very forgiving. Just ask for help, be thankful and do your best.

Don't worry. Just try and do your best.

I myself would like to be an ascetic, but I have a long way to go.

So, that is suppose to make sense?

he has always been and will always be. He is eternal.

God doesn't need you doing His math. This statement only shows that for something to be eternal, it can't exist at all, since "always been" is the past and "will always be" is the future, it cancels out the present, which is where existence occurs.

There are people much smarter than me that will tell you time is not linear. If the past doesn't end then it is possible for someone to eternally exist. With this non gravitational technology they can go back in time or forward in time. We don't have the full technology (well they don't admit having it, but there are stories about The Montauk Project, The Philadelphia Experiment where the govt. does experments moving matter thru time and space. Much like it was on Star Trek, they energize something/someone and send them to another point in time. The Bermuda Triangle and other places on the planet are really just gates where there are vortexes to travel to other places faster than we know how to do it here, that's why planes, boats disappear and never come back. They go thru a star gate vortex, but they don't have the knowledge how to come back. It sounds too fantastic to be true, but there are many things we do not have full knowledge about. People have seen and taken pictures of things in the sky not from our earth, they come from someplace else and go back there. They come to see what we are doing here and how advanced our civilization has gotten. Most people understand that. There are places they regularly visit, these are documented too, like Gulf Breeze, Florida etc.

Expansion and contraction of space and time. The empty space behind the starship expands propelling it forward without acceleration. The ship is placed between the two areas, a bubble is around the two areas that moves space and time around the ship. Space can expand or contract at any speed. Thickness of vacuum energy, the shape of the bubble around the ship, and oscillating the bubble at different speeds are factors involved in the research.
Expand space behind it, contract it in front of it.

Time is a prison, made up by people, a lot like God and religion. Past and future don't exist, except as an attempt by people to try to understand the present, which disappears before you can react to it.

All thought and action is a response to things which have already vanished. The closer you can get to the actual present, the closer you get to eternity. The only way to approach the present is to let go of false abstractions that keep you forever reacting to the illusion of time.

The present is your stargate, or the portal to God, or whatever you want to call it.
