If I've seen one I've seen thirty....Political commentators claiming Trump is a racist, unstable,
dangerous, can't be trusted with nuclear codes, and on and on. This is somehow considered
neutral coverage, or more amazingly construed by some folks as free media coverage, as if it's
a net positive for his campaign? Sniff glue much?

If you are talking about "political commentators" within the media, then yes, their job is to give commentary, which is "spoken or written discussion in which people express opinions about someone or something." I guess you think there should be no commentary, which is fine if you really feel that way. But what you fail to recognize is that political commentary cuts both ways and there is plenty of unflattering political commentary out there about both of the major candidates. The thing with Trump is that what he has been saying and doing is unprecedented and he continues goes so far off the rails on what is now a daily basis that it's getting unprecedented media coverage. I would argue that this is not an accident on Trumps part, he is intentionally trying to generate the coverage he is getting, and he loves it because it not only keeps his name in the headlines, but it gives him another thing to rail against, i.e. he wants to have his cake and eat it too. This was a winning strategy during the primaries but not so sure it will have the same intended impact in the general, and in fact I think we may be starting to see it turn on him a bit and of course this will just ratchet up the media bias whine factor. Time will tell I guess in terms of how it all plays out, but to cry about Trump getting unfair treatment is ignoring the obvious.

So Trump turns on the TV and sees political experts accusing him of being unstable, can't trust
him, is a racist, unhinged, ect, ect, ect.......He loves this? You really believe that?

I think he loves that it keeps his name in the media and he loves that it has taken him this far and that that trumps (pun intended) everything else. I also think that he's trying to double down on what worked for him during the primaries and he really thinks that it will get him elected. Like I said, time will tell.

I have seen him say he loves it. "All publicity is good publicity." Saw him say that in an interview a week or two ago. It keeps his name in the forefront and doesn't cost him a thing.

Exactly. Funny that he loves it but his supporters don't seem to share his enthusiasm. 😛

Wait, I'm confused. I thought the reason people like him is that he's anti-PC and that he says "The Truth" (meaning what his supporters believe but everyone else is too politically correct to say). Pretty much every Trump supporter I know says that is what drew them to Trump to begin with.

Still waiting......

Just kidding, there will never be a positive news story, no business profile about a man who made his fortune in casino and real estate development, a nice story about his family, saving the Wolman NYC ice rink, or his philanthropy.

His philanthropy -

Goober, has Trump given any $$$$ for his victory party at the lake house? You know, there are going to be some heavy partiers there. It's going take a good amount to pay for the band, alcohol, and party favors. You'd think Trump would open his wallet for his victory dance.

While you'ee waiting maybe you can find some positive news stories on the mainstream media about Clinton. All of her work helping children, possitive stories about the all the good that the Clinton Foundation does, etc. If you are trying to make a point that media coverage is one sided, sorry it's not. This is the middle of an election cycle and nobody wants to hear anything positive.

They made a fortune selling those reddish blonde looking squirrels that sit on top of your head. I hear they will be a very popular item for Halloween.

Not sure, but if I really cared I could find out by checking their tax returns, which they have made public.

There have been hundreds of business profiles on Trump. As to the rest,
The man inherited his fortune
What nice story is there about his family? The one where he was screwing Marla Maples while his 3 kids w/Ivanka were still children? The one where after Marla actually had the baby to prove she wasn't trying to con him and he gave her a 5-year wedding contract on the condition she move out of state along with "Tiffany"? Or the current family? What about his rift with his brother who actually runs a legitimate lucrative real estate empire and is known for philanthropy?

What philanthrophy?

And the Wolman rink? A bet he could do it faster than the mayor.

Yeah, there are lots of NICE stories about him.
