Patriots decline to pick up Wilfork's option and looks like they will be parting ways. Not surprised at all given his age and all the moving parts on their roster (Revis!) and the intricacies of the NFL salary cap, but I am still a little bummed. At least it sounds like Vince is in a good place...

yeah, I'm bummed too.
the guy is top shelf, a real good dude and a monster D lineman. 
first night off from volunteering in months so I figured I'd grace this place with a Patriots Champions bump.

both corners could walk, leaving us Patriots fans with two thoughts, the same ones we have every year: 1) what is Bill doing and 2) it's all part of the master plan...

yeah, Vince is a great guy. He'll take the lead in the locker room for sure. He's got maybe 2,3 years left. Him with Clowney and Watt should be a good D Line. The guy creates gaps for LB's.
