You are in last place, right where you belong. 😛
Winner of the Jets/Bills game will be in first. That's not gonna last.

Ram fans don't get your hopes up to much. The Colts stink! 🙁
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

The Lions looked good in the second half. Will find out in the next couple weeks if this will be a good season or not.

So many dud games this past weekend. Oakland Titans was entertaining for the first half and Patsies losing is always a good thing. Other than that I think players after 4 or whatever it is pre-season games are already bored with the process.
I think its Cincy Houston is on Thursday - Who thought that was a good idea???

Did not know Teddy Bridgewater is still out. Bradford had a real good game last night.

I don't think it should be that bad of a game actually. I bet a better question is why my Lions are at the Giants on Monday night. They aren't even giving a touchdown. I would bet the house on New York.

How big is your house? 😉

Big enough. Chicago isn't New York or Jersey or wherever you live. We have room for your ass. But I would give the points.

Yeah about that.

Patriots beat a weak Saints team yesterday. A win is a win though. Brady and the offense looked pretty good, not great. Defense is a long ways away from being a championship defense. They were really good stopping the run. Brees threw for a lot of yards, but that's what he does. He's still pretty good.

Yeah ,Saints D is pretty bad. If NE would have had Edelman they probably would have dropped even more yards then what they did.
Dallas got it handed to them by the Broncos!

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Tony Romo is very good as an analyst. He happens to be younger to both Brady and Brees . It looks like he made the right move.

The giants need a QB who can scramble and evade the sack. their OL is rally bad, and Manning is like a statue back there. Kaepernick could be had at a bargain price, and could win games for them.
Interesting thought. But I don't see them benching Manning. Ever. The offensive coordinator is already in hot water. They would run him out of town if Manning doesn't play, but I do think the thought of it is interesting. And heck, Manning is almost 10 years older than Kaepernick so who knows? Maybe look to the future.
Anyone that can make the Lions look good when their QB only throws for 122 yards can't be that great.

I was wondering the same thing last night. Why isn't he running when he has an opening??? I saw about 5 occasions when he could have dashed through a gap but stood there and got slammed to the ground. He looked scared and his receivers we're no help either.
Brutal display for sure.

Manning can't run. The one sack I think a Lion's defender just waved his arm Eli's way and Manning fell down. If the Giant's can't pass protect properly to run the plays they want to run then the coaches need to realize what is and isn't possible and they either need to have players stay in to help block or they need to call different plays. Really bad game for Giant's organization on national TV.
Regarding Tony Romo, yes I like him alot in the booth as well. First game I heard him, I missed week 1 TV games. He seemed really genuine, alot like a fan in some of his reactions but gave some interesting tidbits throughout. I see they stuck Simms in the studio. Wasn't so much of a Simms fan, I read many people weren't either.

I didn't mind. It means the Lions are in frist place

WTF?............ http://fanbuzz.com/nfl/eli-manning-embarrassing-sack-not-touched/
That's the one I was thinking of! Eli...

I think Eli needs to start eating avacado icecream.

Yeah like your boy TB12? Supposedly he said he drinks 2.5 gallons of water a day
and also it helps him precent sun burns. So if he sleeps 8hrs a day, that leaves
him 16 hrs to drink 2.5 gallons which is 40 8oz cups, which is 2.5 cups an hour.
Not buying. He would need a catheter anchored in his bladder.
This guy sounds like a snake oil salesman and he also has something to hock.

TB12 is certainly trying to sell his brand. I hope he doesn't turn into a snake oil salesman. I wish he would tone down his selling at least until he's out of football. After that, it won't bother me as much.
Whatever methods he uses to keep up his high level of playing on the field, is working. Older athletes like Eli, might want to take a look into what Tom is doing.
Go Pat's.

x2 -- like David Ortiz before him, few athletes at 40 in any sport play at Brady's level

Cant believe I am saying this, probably the only time I ever will , but I like l to thank the New England Patriots for the Jacoby Brissett trade. 😉
Big loss for the Steelers against the Bears.
Some pretty exciting games yesterday.

Brady pulled out another late win against a good defensive Houston team. Patriot defense is not good, although they made a huge stop and forced Houston to kick a field goal. I would have went for it on fourth down if I was Houston.
Lot's of good football yesterday. It's too bad that politics has entered sports the way it did.I think the league and the players handled it right.
jszfunk, your welcome for Jacoby. When Luck is healthy, and you get a real head coach, Pat's, Colts rivalry will continue.

If Jaocby keeps this type of play up he will be snagged by another team next year
and definetly will be a starter. Heck, he could probably start for a few teams now!
Yeah,we need a new coach. I like Chuck and always have been a
supporter of him, but I just think its time.

Awful way for the Lions to lose Sunday

Tonight the Green Bay Packers could take the lead in the GB-Chicago all-time series for the first time since 1933. Pretty amazing since the Bears were ahead by 24 games twice: in 1960, but Lombardi's squads bridged the gap over the next decade only for the Packers to fall behind in the 1970s and 80s. In 1992 the series was 81-57-6, but Favre and Rodgers have managed to bridge the gap with a 37-14 combined record since (Chicago has started 18 different QBs during the same period), tying the series last season. Pretty nuts considering they only play twice a year.

It was very Lionesque. They should review the run off rule.

This was an absolute freight train of a hit.
The last replay from the end zone really showed how lethal that was. Not good.

It was an ugly hit, glad to hear Adams was out of the hospital quickly. If Trump wants those kinds of hits back in the game, he can have the whole league all to himself.
Anyways, Mike Glennon looked like a great successor to Jay Cutler - really hope he sticks around!

Gotta love Sunday morning football.
