Brutal ending to a brutal game last night. Andy Reid came off like a rookie coach at times, while Peyton looked OLD (granted he was getting knocked around a lot).

Cowboys-Eagles game was easily the worst pro game I've ever seen. Romo out. Dez out. Going to be a long season. 🙁

If is the point of the season where it really gets interesting if you start thinking about playoff spots. Isn't it like 15% of teams that start 0-2 make the playoffs?

Seattle 0-2 ? Fortunately for them they can likely rebound to 2-2 with upcoming home games vs Chicago and Detroit.

NY Giants 0-2 ? They might be able to split Washington and Buffalo, doubt they win both. 1-3?

New Orleans 0-2 ? With games ahead at Carolina, vs Dallas, at Philly, vs ATL and at Indy...that looks absolute best case to be a 3-2 stretch which still puts them behind the 8 ball with a losing record after 7 games.

Detroit 0-2 ? Looks really tough to go on a run here. Home vs Denver, at Seattle, then home vs Arz, Chi and Min. They might start 0-5? Hard to believe that, they probably win one of the next 3, but not sure about more than that right now.

Baltimore 0-2 ? Thanks to the Raiders, Balty is now in the 15% of making the playoffs category. 3 of the next 5 are on the road (wow they open with 5 of first 7 away from home!). Upcoming conference games vs Cincy, Pitt and Browns just got even more important than they always have been.

Then there are the 0-2 teams that never had a playoff shot anyway.

Oh, I forgot the Eagles. They certainly were a heavy favorite to win that division preseason..and now 0-2.

They are such a mess, however with all the potential you would think the Eagles could go on a run with games at NYJ, at Wash, vs Saints and vs NYG...however as bad as they looked in the 1st half vs ATL and yesterday vs Dallas it is hard to assume they can win any game until we see how they are going to do it for 4 quarters.

Bears are screwed. But who knows, they seem to do better when Cutler gets hurt and they have to replace him.

Worried about my Lions. 0-2 to start and get a good Broncos team as their home opener Sunday night. Quite worried....

Sweet.

Steelers need revenge for that loss a few years ago Cool

1 win down, 17 to go!
And we get the best RB in the NFL back on Sunday.

Doom has come to the rest of the NFL Cool

I'm just curious to find out what new and creative way they will screw themselves over. They need Deandre Leavy back badly and an offensive line.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott Votes for Tim Tebow to Replace Injured Tony Romo
By Kyle Newport , Featured Columnist
Sep 21, 2015

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered a fractured left clavicle against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, so the team faces some uncertainty at the position.

If the Cowboys are searching the market for a replacement, Texas governor Greg Abbott has a suggestion: Tim Tebow.

So, looks/sounds like the Bills cheated yesterday during their game against New England, blasting their air horn when not allowed to try to distract or otherwise impair the calls made at the line. If it had happened at Gillette there would be a full fledged investigation going on right now. In the meantime, the Patriots just keep on winning.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/21/bills-may-have-gone-too-far-with-pre-play-stadium-sounds/

In the memo sent last month reminding all teams of the NFL’s in-stadium noise policies, the league said this: “The home team is permitted to play audio while the visiting team is on offense and the play clock is running. The audio must cease by the time the play clock reaches 20 seconds, or when the visiting team’s offense reaches the line of scrimmage, whichever occurs first. Pursuant to this policy, the visiting team’s offense is considered being at the line of scrimmage when the center touches the ball.”

The Patriots used the no-huddle offense on multiple occasions, and on multiple occasions when the Patriots used the no-huddle offense the Bills were blaring the train horn.

It’s unknown whether the Patriots made an official complaint to the league regarding the apparent violation of the noise rules. If they were to make any suggestion of it publicly, they’d invite plenty of eye rolling and cries of “karma!” from fans of the Bills and the other 30 teams not named the Patriots.

It may not matter if the Patriots complain. By league rule, “[a]ll clubs must submit a recording of the video board feed paired with the PA system audio by the Wednesday following a home game.” So if the Bills went too far when the Patriots had the ball, the NFL easily will be able to figure it out.

12 Evil Ways The Patriots ‘Cheated’ Against The Bills

1. How did Danny Amendola make that catch? Check his gloves for stickum.

2. And what about that Malcolm Butler interception? How was that so easy to catch? Check the psi.

3. Tom Brady got rid of the ball too quickly. Didn’t give the Bills defense a fair chance at sacking him.

4. Brady also took way too many pass attempts. There should be a rule change to set a limit.

5. Gronk beat his defenders off the line. Didn’t count to five-Mississippi before running. No fair.

6. Speaking of tight ends, the Patriots’ 4-tight end formation isn’t fair. Nobody’s seen that before. It was clear deception.

7. How did Rex Ryan not know Dion Lewis’ name? Surely Bill Belichick left his name off the roster.

8. The Patriots had too many defenders in the Bills backfield. Wouldn’t let Tyrod Taylor make many throws. Need some rule changes to put a stop to that.

9. How did Duron Harmon make his game-sealing interception? Seems like he knew Taylor would overthrow his receiver by 15 yards. Clearly he knew the Bills playbook!

10. The Bills took so many penalties…The Patriots MUST have put electric shockers in the officials’ flags.

11. Nobody told the Bills that Aaron Dobson was going to be active! They didn’t prepare for him! Not a level playing field.

12. Clearly, Julian Edelman had magnets on the pylon. How else would he have been able to make that diving touchdown play?

Yes agree, that was painful to watch. It seems like the last 6mins of the 2nd quarter took a half hour. I did not watch anymore after that. The Eagles looked inept.

Andrew Luck had no help last night, Indy team is brutal.

The graphics MNF kept showing over and over detailing the changes in Indy O Line told a pretty sad story.

5 different centre's in 4 years???? Receivers we're lost, looked like the CFL with the number of missed passes.

For a guy that killed many a ducks fans dreams I do feel sorry for him.

Packers win the NFC, you heard it here first.

Packers will win the NFL! Go Pack, GO! James Jones was such a huge pick-up, and the defense looked spectacular on Sunday night, 3rd quarter dip aside (the Seahawks are still a pretty solid team). Holding Marshawn Lynch to Least Mode and 41 yards was huge after giving up nearly 200 to Forte and the Bears a week earlier.

Still, it is early. The Packers have started out 1-2 a few times the past 5 seasons and still won the NFC North and made the playoffs (including a season with Rodgers on the sidelines for 7 games). Front-runners often run out of gas, but happy to see the Packers gaining some momentum early.
