Not a fan of Mike and Mike at all and this mornings comments by them on Steelers being man handled by the Pats seemed a little off as per usual. Steelers missed 6 pts on missed field goals and missed another 4 when they had the ball on NE goal line settling for a FG which NBC figured we didn't need to see.

NE started off well bur Steelers kept their heads up all night pushing back and making some solid big gain plays on both sides of the ball.

Steelers will be a force when all are back from 420 school and wherever else they have been sent to repent.

Yeah I agree..Steelers did not look sharp, mistakes and etc. NE played well. First game of the season, in that environment,Brady coming back, rough game for Pitt. Steelers are a tough team, a very good coach and quaterback. I dont think Ben gets enough credit at times.

Interesting week 1 so far. AFC East is undefeated...not hugely surprised by Jets and Dolphins given who they were playing but must say I am a little surprised at the Bills beating the Colts and making the Colts look bad in the process...Buffalo is going to be a tough place for the Pats to play next weekend.

Dez Bryant and TY Hilton both injured, sounds like Bryant will definitely miss the Pats game, not sure about Hilton yet.

Cowboys/Giants was tough to watch ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bears will never get past Detroit or GB as long as Cutler is qb.

huge game next week with Seattle. Pay back time. One of those two teams is going to the dance to play the Patriots in SB50.

There is more love for Cutler in Packerland than amongst the Flatlanders in Illinois. After all, he is 2nd in completions to Green Bay.

I'm excited for the GB-Seattle game. Seattle will be hungry after getting surprised by the Rams yesterday and Green Bay's defense needs to get tested early in the season.

Last season, kickers only missed 8 extra points ALL SEASON. Prior to the end of yesterday's action they had already missed four. I also saw more 2-point conversions that I can remember seeing in a while. I give the new PAT distance a big thumbs up. What about you?

No problem with it. While we didn't move the line back, we had the 2 point conversion in high school 30 years ago because nobody could make an extra point.

Different times I guess. Smile

Colts game...yuk!
Dont want to jump to conclusions quite yet, but I have my thoughts.
Not enough room/time to type now!

I watched a good part of the Arizona v. Saints
and the Cowboys and Giants.

Arizona looks solid, and they have a very good coach.

Buffalo looks good. They will get a test against NE this coming week.
They blitzed alot.

Maybe Tomlin should have taken a page from BBs book and actually been prepared for headset issues, especially since it happens, you know, all the time at Gillette...

“During Super Bowl XLVI, in 2012, the Patriots’ headsets malfunctioned in the second half, leading to harmful miscommunication. And so, in the week leading into last season’s Super Bowl, Belichick stopped practice and shouted for the coaches to drop their headsets.”

Perhaps Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin should have been better prepared for headset malfunctions before playing the New England Patriots on Thursday night.

That’s what Bill Belichick would have done, according to an anecdote buried in The Washington Post’s feature on the Patriots head coach.

“During Super Bowl XLVI, in 2012, the Patriots’ headsets malfunctioned in the second half, leading to harmful miscommunication,” Adam Kilgore of The Washington Post wrote. “And so, in the week leading into last season’s Super Bowl, Belichick stopped practice and shouted for the coaches to drop their headsets.”

Tomlin caused a stir after the Patriots beat the Steelers 28-21, when he said his team always experiences communication issues at Gillette Stadium. Tomlin appeared upset when explaining his team was listening to the Patriots’ radio broadcast for the first half of the game.

Belichick said communication mishaps occur almost weekly to the Patriots. They also were experiencing complications with their headsets during the NFL Kickoff game. The NFL later cleared the Patriots of any wrongdoing, blaming an electrical issue for the problem.

And the Eagles and Niners have the most issues with rowdy fans.
Guess they need to jack the price up even more
