They know they can't push re-districting on people again so soon, so they have new tactics.

On the surface that may not sound like there is anything controversial about it, but there is because of financial inequality in America.

In Virginia, more than 900,00 people have lost their driver's licenses because they couldn’t pay the court fees associated with having them restored.

Perhaps the worst part of the Missouri grift lay in the revelation that this system was keeping some of the state’s very poorest citizens from any possibility of ever emerging out of a bottomless spiral of destitution, homelessness, and debt. Ferguson and other municipalities were essentially criminalizing being poor.

Remarks: It will make a difference in Virginia where 900,000 people do not have the photo id license needed to vote. That's almost a million people. Is it just a coincidence that poor people all over the country are now being disenfranchised and cannot even vote?

Some states have jumped on the automatic voter registration bandwagon, hoping to get more people voting. This seems like a good idea, however, there are people who need their privacy. If you have a single Mother who applies for social services and had some psycho ex-boyfriend who stalks her, he could find her thru the voter registration records. So automatic voter registration is NOT necessarily a good thing.

Why can't they allow people the right to do it themselves? It's like a furtherance of those automatic flush toilets that go off before you are done, or the automatic lights that turn off before you are done so you are sitting in the dark. Enough of all of it, let people be responsible for themselves, if they are too stupid to be able to register to vote, they shouldn't be voting in the first place. Who are they going to elect, and how do they make their decisions? Well I guess I just answered the question of how our govt. is in the shape it is in now. Maybe it's time to blame the voters.
