Everyone, not just sports fans, should be really concerned with basketball player Britney Griner's situation - detained against her will in Russia - she's obviously being used as an example - other Americans and journalists have also been, & still are, wrongfully jailed in Russia

@stephen:  I've never even seen Malcolm Brogdon play but I looked at this stats:  19 points and 6 assists last year.  That speaks for itself.  And they say he's a true point guard.  Looks like a GREAT pickup for your Celts.  And while they gave up 5 players and a draft pick, none of those guys were role players for them last year.

Brooklyn Nets are a big joke.  Harden was a fraction of his old self, and Irving is a vaccine denier so limited in playing time.  WHO IN HELL WOULD WANT TO PICKUP IRVING.  Durant is 34 years old and injury prone.  At the beginning of last season it looked like they may dominate the league.  Now all three may be gone.  Can Steve Nash sleep at night right now??

Yeah Britney Griner's situation is just horrible and for her sake I hope it is resolved soon.  What I heard is that she was caught with hash oil, not CBD.  If it was hash oil, I have no idea what in hell she was ever thinking bringing that into Russia.  But it could have been me.  I'm just lucky the authorities in Aruba never checked my bag at the airport in 2008 because I had weed in there.  So I really emphathize with her.
