Jon Stewart: Democrat Party Political Hack

Political puppet from Obama's land of make believe, disguised as a free-thinking independent seeker of truth and fair-minded arbiter of political commentary....
http://nypost.com/2015/07/29/jon-stewarts-secret-obama-meetings-reveal-hes-a-partisan-hack/

Never watched his show to begin with.

Jon Stewart is a comedian and his show is exactly that.
The fact that he is a far-left political hack has been well known for a very long time.
A few years ago a poll of U.S. college students showed that The Daily Show was their primary “news” source.
Obama knows this and uses Jon Stewart much in the same way he controls CBS News.
White House Believed Jon Stewart Had More Policy Influence Than Obama At Times
Enter the low-info voters.

This reminds me of the WH Press Offices attempts to force pool reporters to change their reports. The White House was also trying to control which information was circulated and only what it viewed as favorable.
White House approved news content? If they weren't constantly trying to stack the deck you'd have to check for a pulse.

Employing the theory of transitive relation...
Stewart = Left wing entertainer
O'Reilly = Right wing entertainer
Therefore, Stewart = O'Reilly

QED

Lame article. So Obama met with Stewart - twice - in 6 years - that's a real story there.......he must really control him...... lol You guys are really reaching now.........

Yawn

Lame article. So Obama met with Stewart - twice - in 6 years
Where did you get twice? Even then, The Goolsby and Axelrod types were in frequent contact with Stewart. Pretty much smashes the illusion of Stewart being just an impartial, honest observer.

I always knew Obama had the Obi Won Kenobi mojo working for him. How else could he have duped everyone into passing ACA?

From the original Politico story that the lame article linked to......

Just curious does anyone who has actually watched Stewarts show think he is nonpartisan and not a liberal? I mean come on really?
Even Bill Maher will criticize Obama at times and nobody will ever call him nonpartisan.
Nothing to see here move on.

In other news, the sun rose in the east, the sky is blue, and college students drink a lot of beer.

Pretty much smashes the illusion of Stewart being just an impartial, honest observer.
Dude! Have you lost your mind??? If you had that illusion you should be committed. C'mon alloak... you're in Alex Jones territory now my friend.

After all of this time defending Fox News party hacks, you are now outraged (common Fox News term) by a liberal party hack? And you just figured out that Stewart was a liberal? Really?

I'm so gobsmacked I apparently had to post twice! 😮 😮 😮

Alloak calls others low info.

Lamest thread of the year award for sure

Billy,
I believe Muddy Waters sang "Can't Lose What You Never Had".... hmmm
Also I know there's this obscure band you & I listen to that covered that song...another hmmm.

Heheheheheheh.

You want a story about real media corruption? Check out this story reporting on how the Pentagon asserts itself into the entertainment industry. This is right out of the Soviet Union's playbook.

What's weird about this and reading some of the other comments is that when Stewart was named the Most Trusted Newsman we heard a different tune. His defenders took that poll seriously and felt he was really deserving while others laughed at it.
Of course we knew Stewart was a Liberal all along. But after he topped that poll his supporters were not so quick to point that out like they have on this thread. No, they took that poll seriously almost like some kind of badge of honor. The left wing blogs were giddy over it, and NONE of them were pointing out what a big liberal he was then. Now it's something we've known all along. Strange.

Why did Stewart need defending? I remembering reading that more than 80% of Americans got their news from Stewart. I laughed and shook my head recognizing the story as an indictment on main stream media and the American public much more than it was a referendum on Stewart.
You say his supporters didn't point out that he was a liberal after "he topped that poll".
Why would anyone feel the need to point out the obvious?
Looking at the title of your thread I have to wonder what your next thread will be named.

Seems legit

Then why the need to point it out now? Yet they're tripping over themselves doing it on this thread playing follow the follower.
The media is already corrupt enough, hence a trust factor of around 10%. You must instinctively know that political commentators should probably put a certain distance between themselves and the White House. Then again, maybe you don't, so why not just put Stewart on the WH payroll?
Roll the credits at the outro, and don't forget to include David Axelrod - Producer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this show is on Comedy Central, right?

Love Stewart's show. He was hilarious talking about this last night. To say he is somehow Obama's puppet is so much of a stretch it is pure comedy gold. Stewart is a comedian. His political leanings are liberal. Conservatives give him tons of ammunition, and this is more of it. I'm sure serious conservative candidates like Jeb Bush are just shaking their heads and wondering why those who supposedly share similar political views are making things harder for him while they back a clown like Donald Trump.

Just curious does anyone who has actually watched Stewarts show think he is nonpartisan and not a liberal? I mean come on really?

I am flattered you would quote my post Alloak but you are barking up the wrong tree as I was never involved in defending Stewart in the other threads you mention and never claimed he was nonpartisan.
But back to the topic on hand you are making the straw man argument you seem to hate as nobody in the thread ever claimed Stewart was non-partisan or is arguing with you that he is which seems to be the point of you OP.
In fact everybody is confused why you ever thought he was nonpartisan to begin with as to us it is obvious he is a liberal comedian.

Never before have you demonstrated the true depth of America's problem with low information voters. I am stunned. I really thought you were better at thinking for yourself.
John Stewart is not a political commentator dude. He is a comedian who specializes in political discourse.
I guess when those girls on Fox News get their panties in a bunch you naturally bunch up your panties as well.

I don't even watch Stewart, and believe me I'm well aware he's just a comedian. How does that make me the low-information voter? I'm not one of the stooges that have tuned into the Daily Show with the belief that he's credible and is worthy of any trust whatsoever. You got it exactly backwards. Stewart is like a magnet for LIV's.....And what does FOX News have to do with it. I haven't even mentioned FOX News.
