JE SUIS CHARLIE

France already forbid the wearing of Muslim veils in public, they announced they did not want Muslims in their country because the Muslims beliefs were in opposition to French culture. This happened under Sarkozy's administration.
This is nonsense! When did France announce that they did not want Muslims in "their country"?
Assuming that they had, what have they done to enforce such a law?
The government banned the wearing of the burka in public on the grounds that - in their opinion - it was in breach of their laws on gender equality; it was seen as a sign of woman's subservience.
As a woman, I assume you would approve.
Similar bans exist in other European countries and regions so France is not isolated.
The French Prime Minister said it on a radio interview, and I am pretty sure Sarkozy also said it.

France’s immigration minister said he is refusing citizenship to a Muslim man who called his wife “an inferior being,” and forced her to wear a full veil in public, an announcement that plays well with French public support for a burqa ban. “He has no place in our country Prime Minister Francois Fillon told Europe 1 radio, Fillon said the Moroccan man, who had married a French woman, failed to respect the “values of the [French] republic.”
You don't recall the ban on the headscarves, and women being fined for covering themselves? This happened in 2011, and it was stated that France did not want Muslims in the country, because their beliefs were not the beliefs of the majority of the French people, culturally.
Violators of the ban face a 150 euro ($211) fine, while a person who forces a woman or minor to wear the garment could face up to two years in prison and a 60,000-euro ($84,500) fine.
Islam does NOT demand a woman cover her face in public. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said a woman must cover herself (referring to her chest), but it was not necessary to cover what appeared naturally, and he pointed to the face and hands in public. WHEN a woman prays, she MUST wear a head covering, and the Bible says this also. That was the law.
The traditions became such that people wanted modesty for the women. I like the idea of a headscarf ( the Iranian women wear short ones in public) but would like to have a panel from the nose to the chin, so she can breathe, but still have some modesty. That way she can see, and breathe, but she is still covered face and hair wise.
People need to read their religious books and find out what the advice was that was given to them.

I am well aware of the French legislation and referred to similar legislation in other European countries and regions, eg Belgium.
Perhaps you will elaborate on your statement that France "announced they did not want Muslims in their country".
As I believe Muslims make up some 10% of the French population, where does the government propose to expatriate these 6 million people?
Or are you extrapolating the refusal of citizenship to one Morrocan man into a blanket exclusion policy on all Muslims?
